Acerola berries are a rich source of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a protective antioxidant that provides more even skin tone and stimulates collagen synthesis.

Figure 1 illustrate the water binding effect of cellulose, carboxymethyl cellulose, xanthan, hyaluronic acid and cross-linked hyaluronic acid.
