Cicamed night antioxidant is a repairing and deeply moisturizing night cream.

Formulated with rich organic oils, butters, vitamins and protective antioxidants to help the skin’s nighttime recovery process, which allows for deeper, more intense results. Organic oils are rich in vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. Organic jojoba oil is compatible with the skin and penetrates deeply, providing a balancing effect. Shea and cocoa butter help strengthen the epidermal barrier and restore the natural moisture balance. Made in Sweden.

In an in-vivo study the maintenance of the integrity of the barrier function was measured using corneometry. Non-compatible lipid compositions may provoke instability in the skin barrier, while a compatible emulsifier will strengthen the barrier and increase hydration. The olive emulsifier produces a sustained, long-term hydration with a net hydration contribution of 145%, as seen in figure 1, indicating improved barrier function.
