Organic extract from the nut of horse chestnut has a tightening effect and strengthens blood vessels.
Hyaluronic acid provides continuous moisture to the skin by binding up to 1000 times its weight in water. Cross-linked hyaluronic acid has five times the water binding capacity of hyaluronic acid.
Plantago lanceolata leaf extract origins from organically cultivated Swiss Alpine plant ribwort plantain. The herb is rich in flavonoids, phenylethanoids and iridois. It enhances collagen synthesis, supports wound healing, is anti-inflammatory and has antioxidant properties.
Acerola berries are the richest known source of vitamin C. As an antioxidant, vitamin C prevents skin damages caused by UVA and UVB exposure. As a melanin inhibitor, vitamin C helps to lighten the skin. And by stimulating collagen synthesis, vitamin C accelerates skin firming and helps to prevent fine lines.
Caffeine is stimulating and contracts superficial facial bloodvessels to provide draining and tightening effects.
Alpha lipoic acid, Q10, vitamin E, vitamin C and green tea forms a protective antioxidant complex.
A test panel applied three serums for evaluation: serum X, formulated with the tightening ingredient complex used in collagen boost mask and two market references. 96% of the panelist experienced a tightening effect after using serum X, as illustrated in figure 1. The tightening effect was more than twice as effective when compared to serum 2 and 3, figure 2.
